Hi everyone, I've been out filming and taking photos of some interesting historical places.

Among other things, I visited Fredriksten Fortress, where Karl XII fell on November 30, 1718. An experience and impressive place.

Fredriksten Fortress is located in southern Norway, quite close to the border to Sweden. It has an enormous strategic location on a hill, with a fantastic view of the Idde fjord. And that's why they started building a fortress here in the 17th century.

But why did Karl XII choose to attack Norway in the fall of 1718 and why did he die here? How close to the fortress did the king come?

The visit to Fredriksten provided some new puzzle pieces.
